Indian art and craft have lagged behind for several reasons—many rural artisans have limited formal education and often struggle to create contemporary, market-friendly designs. Investment challenges further restrict their growth. To bridge this gap, we have launched initiatives such as From Artists to Artisans, where art enthusiasts collaborate to create better designs for rural artisans to implement. We also actively gather data from online platforms to understand buyer preferences, enabling us to design products that are not only aesthetically rich but also practical and aligned with market demand.
